Welcome back to the College by Alumni
The college was recently paid a visit by former Head Girl, Miss Lisa Shoko. We were delighted, honoured and immensely proud to learn of achievements to date and plans for the future.
Lisa is completing a degree in International Legal Studies at the University of Kent. Lisa has just returned from 12 months international study in Beijing, China. In the summer Lisa will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro to raise fund for the Meningitis Trust.
Lisa speaking with Headteacher Paul Dickinson said, “That she believed the opportunities created for her whilst a student at the college has played a major part in preparing her for life.”
Lisa was an outstanding young person, who gave so much back to the college, an outstanding member of the college’s public speaking society, winning the National Catenian Public Speaking Contest.
Lisa was able to talk with some current members of the public speaking society as well as meeting staff.
