Paris Trip

30 students from year 7 through to year 12 travelled to Paris in France to enjoy four days immersed in French culture and language with the Modern Foreign Languages department.

The students time in Paris city centre, firstly with a trip up the Eiffel Tower followed by a leisurely boat cruise down the Seine past many of the beautiful building and monuments that make Paris so famous. Next we visited the Arc de Triomphe and spent time in the shops on the Champs-Ellyseé practising our French skills. In the evening sun we visited the Montmatre area of Paris, most famous for the Sacre-Couer but also an area full of cafés and small markets where our students enjoyed some time to experience authentic French culture.

The following day we spent the day at Disneyland Paris, an opportunity for our students to relax and have fun! Many new friendships were made and by the end of the day we had 30 tired but happy students.

During the trip our students also had the opportunity to eat French food, experience shopping in a French supermarket and also take part in our big quiz of Paris 2019!
